Seed Saving Workshops

Several times a year we run seed saving workshops and training. These include ‘Introduction to Seed Saving’ workshops for beginners, as well as intermediate level seed saving, and other specialist subjects such as ‘Caring for a Community Seed Bank’. Workshops take place in gardens, community spaces, and online.

Our ‘Introduction to Seed Saving Workshops’ cover subjects such as:
– Why Save Seed?
– Understanding Seeds (including F1 hybrids vs. open pollinated seed),
– Easy crops to begin seed-saving
– Cross-pollination
– Selecting for Health & Vigour
– Drying and Storing seed
